Upcoming Service Changes:

 

Christmas and New Year's Service 2024

 

On Christmas and New Year's Eve, December 24 and 31, MWRTA services will end early:

- Catch Connect Wellesley will end at 7:30 PM, and Catch Connect Framingham / Natick will not operate.

- Fixed Routes will aim to pull back around 7:30 PM - please click here to view details for the last service hours on each route. 

- Demand Response will end service at 7:30 PM. 

There will be no service on Christmas or New Year's Day, December 25 and January 1.

Schedule Revision - Routes 1, 5, 7C, 9, 14, GLC, & NCS

 

Sunday, January 5, 2025 - Routes 1, 5, 7C, 9, 14, GLC, and NCS will be revised - here's what you need to know!

 

- Weekend Service: Routes 1, 5, and 9 will now operate weekend service! The GLC will operate its last day of service on Saturday, January 4, 2025 and be replaced by Routes 1 and 9 weekend. 

- Added frequency: The Route 7C will now have a second bus in the morning, operating between Apex/Hannaford and Target only. 

- Commuter Shuttle: The NCS will start morning service approximately 45 minutes earlier, and will now service West Natick more frequency.  the W. Natick stop will be located inside of the Kendall Square Plaza, next to the MBTA Station. 

- Timing: Route 14 will have adjusted timing throughout the schedule.

MWRTA is Fare Free through June 30, 2025!

 

All MWRTA services will remain fare free through next year.  Fixed Route riders will not need to show or tap a Catch Card to qualify - simply board the bus and your fare is free! 

Free fare will automatically be applied to any Catch Connect and Demand Response trips.

Up-to-the-Minute Bus Route Info

MWRTA is participating in Google Transit - click here and then type in your directions to utilize this service. Use the Google Transit Trip Planner to get step-by-step transit directions in your web browser. Enter a starting and ending address or destination serviced by MWRTA and you will be given schedule and fare information for navigating the bus system.

The Google Transit Trip Planner is also available for some mobile phones by navigating to http://m.google.com/maps in your mobile browser. You may also get directions to and from the MBTA service area into and out of the MWRTA service area.

In Honor and Respect for our Country's Symbol

The MWRTA is now accepting your old, tattered, or otherwise damaged American Flags at the Blandin Hub for proper disposal.

Customer Service will be happy to take your flag(s,) which will be placed in a designated container to be properly disposed of at a later date.
